Autosoft DMS (November 2023 - Present)

Product Manager

I lead the Partner Program for Integrations at Autosoft DMS. I work across business units to develop a strategy and roadmap for real-time integration with Automotive Manufacturers for a connected dealership experience.

Tekion (February 2017 - October 2023)

Product Owner

Fulfilling a dream, I joined Tekion in 2017, eager to contribute to a Silicon Valley startup. As Tekion operated in stealth mode, I had the unique opportunity to work closely with the founders and gain invaluable insights from industry leaders. This experience fostered a deep understanding of the automotive retail landscape.

Throughout my tenure at Tekion, I played a key role in shaping various products. From crafting the user experience for the Digital Service Experience to crafting core functionalities for the Dealership Management System, I tackled diverse challenges. Additionally, I contributed to seamless integration of the product with Automotive Manufacturers and the development of advanced analytics, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.

My first product was to deliver Digital Service Experience platform. To understand the automotive industry, I actively learned by shadowing dealership teams and conducting market research. This deep dive, combined with trend analysis, fueled innovative ideas and a platform designed to address user needs within the automotive landscape.

Streamlining Service Scheduling Through User Research

These images capture a key dealer visit where I focused on understanding their current workflows and processes. By connecting with various dealership teams, I identified their challenges, process gaps, and pain points. Following this user research, we consolidated our findings and proposed a new workflow. User testing allowed us to refine the solution, ensuring it effectively addressed their needs.

From User Research to Launch: Building the Service Scheduling Platform

After refining the workflow and identifying essential features, I collaborated with the design team to prioritize features for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). We built user personas and user journeys to understand the user experience, and then started iterating on wireframes. Continuous testing and feedback loops ensured ongoing improvement.

In parallel, we involved the development team to leverage their expertise. While we refined wireframes, they began crafting the platform's architecture and technical design. This collaborative approach led to the creation of prototypes, further user feedback, and ultimately, a successful launch of the service scheduling product.

My role didn't end there. I actively provided post-release support and championed continuous improvement, ensuring the product remained user-centric and addressed evolving needs.
